Description
Summary:[Objectives] To realize the ship-based and shore-based remote wireless monitoring of power quality of electric propulsion ship,[Methods] a new type of electric power quality monitoring system based on Internet of Things(IoT) technology is designed, which consists of perception layer, ship-side wireless transmission layer,Wide Area Network (WAN) wireless transmission layer, ship-wide wireless monitoring layer and WAN cloud monitoring layer. The power quality data collected by intelligent power quality parameter measuring instruments and high precision sensors in perception layer is transmitted by the ship-wide wireless transmission layer based on the Modbus TCP/IP design and the WAN wireless transmission layer to the wireless handheld monitoring terminal based on STM32 MCU design and the upper PC monitoring terminal based on Matlab design in the ship-wide wireless monitoring layer and to the cloud monitoring system based on WebAccess design in the WAN cloud monitoring layer, thus realizing remote wireless monitoring.[Results] Finally, effectiveness, practicality and flexibility of the system are verified by the ship electric propulsion experiment system.[Conclusions] The system can provide power quality big data support for personnel in different areas of the whole ship and shore-based supervision admistrations and equipment maintenance services.
