Summary: | The importance of the violations in the interpersonal sphere and, in particular, in the field of social cognition in depression, is emphasized by different specialists: psychia¬trists, clinical psychologists, psychotherapists. This article discusses approaches which are directly related to social cognition, and the number of non¬specific cognitive factors that hamper the social information processing in depression. Methods of social cognition studying are described. They are based on different theoretical con¬structions (mentalization, Theory of Mind, social intelligence, social skills, emotional intelligence, egocentrism etc.). And also we describe the results of empirical studies of disorders of social cognition in depression, a number of conclusions, outlining the prospects for further research are made. It is settled, that the cognitive aspects of disorders of social cognition are studied in a break with the data of the phenomenological observations and empirical researches regarding motivation for communication, self¬control and focus thinking on another person (intentionality). |
