Radiobiogeochemical research of the Karakol River basin in the Issyk-Kul region, Kyrgystan
This paper presents the results of radioecological research of the Karakol River basin in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgystan. The Karakol River has a snow-glacier feed, the chemical concentration of the water is slightly mineralized and it is of calcium-hydrocarbonate-sulfate type. The concentration of r...

The concentration of radionuclide was determined in soil, water, river bottom sediments and the city of Karakol. The values of concentrations are varied within the natural regional background, but a significant increase of the specific activity of radionuclides was observed in the estuary zone of the river. The map of the level of the exposure dose of the territory of the city of Karakol was compiled with the help of the computer program "Surfer-12".https://www.e3s-conferences.org/articles/e3sconf/pdf/2019/24/e3sconf_wri-162018_01023.pdf |
