| Summary: | The historical center of the settlement, its unique buildings, natural landscape, as well as the objects of architectural heritage from the point of view of national culture are considered. In the process of system analysis, the urban identity of the historical center was revealed from the standpoint of the living environment quality. It is indicated that one of the main tasks in the strategic planning of the historical center is the organization of its attractive space, in the context of creating a high level of living environment, the activity of cultural pastime. Particular attention is focused on the need to preserve the historical center, which is an important planning link in the urban planning structure of the settlement.
