Summary:Inspired by the discussions I have conducted in my undergraduate classes and by two essays I have published on high impact social media, this text is intended to discuss the legitimacy of violence committed by gender and sexuality minorities as an often desperate act of responding to successive Injuries, which, as I understand it, injure these populations as if they were dead. In the two essays mentioned, I posed this question in the following way: would violence be a legitimate way of coping with LGBTphobia and other forms of production of subaltern identities?
