Following a diagnosis of the real needs of the population, various territorial intelligence (TI) systems (e.g. public communication, participatory approaches) are retained and deployed to achieve this. The evaluation of results is strongly guided by notions of identity, attachment and solidarity expressed by the local population to the region. Our comparative study between Medenine and Nabeul, two regions of Tunisia, allowed an assessment of TI systems selected by managers. A quantitative phase of the study has verified the quality of the measurement scales developed and the relationship between variables, and we observed that an intense feeling of belonging to the region fosters a supportive attitude towards it, regardless of the level of TI deployment.http://journals.openedition.org/communiquer/1901public communicationterritorial intelligencesense of belongingeconomic intelligenceknowledge management |
