| Summary: | The present article analyses the higher education restructuring process
through international documents that guide the models and reforms currently
being developed. The investigation is focused on the crisis diagnoses, on the
contemporary challenges, on the missions and on the proposed alternative
solutions, pointing out that there is a kind of standardization in higher
education policies in a society of knowledge and in a competitive and
globalized world permanently changing. This process underlies the reforms
that are being implemented in different Latin American countries. |
