Summary:The study of the heat transfer is particularly interesting in the natural gas transport to predict temperature profile throughout gas pipeline, and know the critical points of the system where diverse operational problems can be presented, like condensation of hydrocarbon liquid and gas hydrate formation, which prevent the effective step of the gas, affect its quality and promote damages to infrastructure. In this project it is evaluated the impact of diverse parameters related at the pipe and the environment in a gas pipeline, over the heat transference, specifically over gas temperature profile, the transferred heat and the global coefficient of heat transfer. Two types of environment: buried and above ground gas pipeline were evaluated
