Description
Summary:Background: The need for synthesis is important in any scientific field. The question is where to find intersections of interest between anthropology disciplines and sports? Objectives: The primary objective of the study is to mark the contact between cultural anthropology and sport for the primary field of interest are the current trends in anthropological research. Linked to this are opportunities to investigate the relationship of anthropological disciplines and sport, especially physical culture in a broader sense. Methods: A synthetic approach suggests the possibility of cooperation between cultural anthropology, philosophy, sports, philosophical and sport kinantropology. Results: The author - in addition to methodological issues - draws attention to the specifically oriented directions of thought and social and cultural anthropology, on several thematic areas and sub-disciplines of cultural anthropology, but in particular the possible relationships and intersections between some theoretical disciplines related to sport and cultural anthropology. Conclusions: This implies two things - first, the fact that cultural anthropology moves away from the exotic and secondly, that we can build on the knowledge of the world of contemporary man in his everyday variety which includes sports activities.
