Summary:The Christian Council of Norway. The Christian Council of Norway (CCN) is a fellowship of Christian churches and denominations, with the Bible as the source, who worship and confess one God – inspired by the prayer of Jesus: «That they all may be one». The purpose of this article is triple fold: (1) to give a short history and review of the efforts to deepen and broaden the fellowship of churches especially in Norway, (2) to recall the dif-ferent stages in the formation of CCN since late eighties until today. (3) An overall evaluation of CCN since 1992 and challenges ahead.
