Summary:<p>The economic crisis which is still engaged the Spanish economy has been especially brazen in the labor market. The bulging unemployment figures seem to mask a grim situation that is experienced unequally by men and women form. In this context, the primary objective of this paper is to examine whether gender differences exist in the Spanish labor market is expressed in the same way during the current crisis or differences were found between the time of the preceding recession. Assess whether the crisis has affected equally to members of either sex or if there are substantial differences between them, forms the theme of this work, and within it reveal any differences between the companies and the Social Economy other companies of the Spanish economy.</p>
