The model emphasizes the analysis of the eco-systemic and anthropogenic relationships that constitute the natu-ral systems present within the study area. The appropriation of space within the Guaribas basin is the result of the ongoing urbani-zation process, which creates major inequalities in the use of coastal space. Overall, the DPSIR model proved highly effective for the integrated analysis of the socio-environmental problems affect-ing the Guaribas basin.http://www.seer.ufu.br/index.php/revistabrasileiracartografia/article/view/44622
