Description
Summary:Currently the mechanical metal sector organizations are increasingly looking for quality and cost reduction in the development of their products. This paper elaborates on the verification of surface finish and roughness in machining techanical parts. Based on this, the study aims to analyze the profile of machined external cylindrical surfaces in turning using the variation of two cutting parameters: feed (fn), and depth of cut (ap). To perform the experimental aspect, we used the experiment design full factorial 2k. The statistical analysis will make it possible to identify the best cutting parameters for machining, and as a result will seek to identify better finish and surface roughness of the material being processed.
