Summary:Agrobusiness has been presented as a specific branch of the national economy. The concept of agrologistics, that is logistic activity adapted to the specificity of the food economy, has been defined. The results of research on the state of logistics in agri-food industry enterprises are presented. The situation in the area of inventory management and warehouse management, transport, information management and packaging management was recognized. It was found that the agro-food industry faces problems caused by dispersal of suppliers, uses diverse solutions in the field of procurement, inventory management, storage, transport, customer and consumer relations, or the use of decision support systems and IT networks. Modern technologies based on radio waves are relatively poorly used, bar codes are more eagerly used. In relations with customers / partners, telephone contact prevails. Companies with information systems dominate related to finances, accounting and office work.
