| Summary: | Application of directional drilling in underground coal mines is well known from Australia or USA, this method is used especially for gas drainage and coal seam exploration. The paper deals with trajectory control of boreholes drilled in underground of Ostrava-Karvina coal mines. Utilisation of indirect control technologies for gas drainage and technical purposes including examples are described below. Results of the first two experiments with downhole motor, direct control technology and horizontal directional drilling are mentioned in the end of the article as well as some recommendation and possible ways of future development. |
