Description
Summary:A new policy for the management of archaeological collections and storage facilities had been started by the French cultural Ministry, in the purpose to developed association of means and competences, particularly between local archeological services and museums in the territories. This orientation is developed across recent reflections in that field, particularly expressed in recent public reports. The project is also developed on the analysis of the actual situation of storage deposits and management of archaeological collections since many decades. The result is that deposits and archaeological collections management had not enough contributed in their mission to create a network of cultural equipments dedicated for the visibility of archaeology for citizens.
