An analytic, retrospective case-controlled study was carried out, with reference to 1001 recorded cases of systemic SLE lupus erythematosus in Lupus Unit, Rheumatology Center, Shariati Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Thefrequency of convulsion was 13.3%. There was no significant difference in the frequency of convulsoin inpatients with different levels of anti-DNA antibodies.
