The aim of the paper is to focus the readers’ attention on the potentialities of enhancing the efficiency of teaching future philologists by using project-work as the mechanism of integrating a variety of theoretical linguistics (theoretical grammar, lexicology, semantics, syntax, text linguistics; communicative linguistics, discourse linguistics, stylistics, cognitive linguistics, contrastive linguocultural studies) and applied linguistics (corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics etc.). It is of special importance because the most competitive specialists in 2030 are envisaged to be critical thinking, creative, collaborative and communication competent. The project consists of 3 main stages. Stage 1. Information collection of deformed proverbs: potential integration of sociolinguistics corpus linguistic and mathematical statistic methods. Stage 2. Linguistic analysis. Stage 3. Analysis of changes in the systems of conceptual values and priorities as proverbs and aphorisms are specific regulators of human behaviour and outlook, they reflect folk morale protecting the traditional family welfare and spiritual morale challenging murders. Comparative and contrastive analysis of English, Ukrainian and Russian deformed proverbs show that, in general, the processes of proverb decomposition are identical. But Ukrainian and Russian proverbs express national and cultural component more explicitly more proper names, stronger emotive, evaluative connotation and more specific national elements.http://zum.onu.edu.ua/article/view/181735концептуальні цінностідеформація/трансформація паремійпроектна форма навчання
