Description
Summary:In order to explore the impact of targeted culling on the transmission of rabies,we investigate a susceptible-exposed-infected(SEI) model for rabies with culling effect. The basic reproduction number is introduced by using corresponding eigenvalue problem, and we establish the stability of equilibrium based on this number and upper and lower solutions method. Our results show that culling plays an important role in the prevention and control of rabies.
