Urban greening is one of the most popular actions in terms of adaptation planning to face impacts of climate change, especially to fight urban heat-islands effects. In this way, Greenways seem to be potential measures of adaptation to climate change in urban context, by contributing in the same time to the evolving implementation of an urban sustainable development. However, the building of a sustainable city has to react simultaneously to several challenges (in social, energetic, ecologic, or in resilience terms) which imply transverses and integrated approaches which have to be created. By crossing issues from the Greenways implementation and imperatives from an anticipation to impacts of climate change, this article propose to highlight identifiable convergences between these emerging objects of collective action but also between subtle arbitrations in terms of present and future choices related to any urban action.http://journals.openedition.org/vertigo/11869adaptationcityenergetic transitiongreenwaysheat spots.planning |
