Summary:Solidarity economy, an emerging and itinerant concept, needs dialogues that help define it and specify its content. In this article, taking Jean-Louis Laville’s contributions as a reference, we reflect on the economic, domestic, mercantile, public and solidarity spaces. We also propose that, based on a review of the history of the solidarity economy in the peripheral countries, revealing an itinerary that advances beyond the proposals of Laville that is closer to the Latin American.
