Description
Summary:In 2008 the period of post harvest maturation was short and it did not principally affect germinative energy. Varieties exhibited considerable differences in intensity of germination, i.e. by rate and index of germination. Nine weeks after achieving full maturity the varieties Spilka, Diplom, Aktiv, Radegast, Westminster, Jersey, Bojos, Prestige, Xanadu, Blaník, and Acrobat showed very intensive germination, unlike the varieties Calgary, Aksamit, Marthe, and Publican. Variability of all three studied parameters was significantly affected by the location. In 2008 the period of post harvest maturation was short and it did not principally affect germinative energy.
