Summary: | Some 1300 diocesan priests from Spain, Italy, Belgium, France and Switzerland were present in Latin America in December 1968, sent by their European bishops. The study proposes a statistical analysis, by sending organization, of these secular clerics. For each of these priests, the names, first names, host diocese and sending organization are provided. Among the main results of this survey, we can note the massive presence of Spanish priests on the other side of the Atlantic and the strong presence of European clergy in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Venezuela. |
