Description
Summary:Estimation of growth stability of Betula pendula and Populus balsamifera stands in anthropogenic landscapes in Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk forest-steppe regions was carried out by the values of fluctuating asymmetry (FA). Well-formed dependence of asymmetry increasing in leaves and needles of studied species in natural stands based on the value of technogenic loads and the distance from pollution sources was established. Indices of nee-dle asymmetry at organismic and tissue levels were obtained for Pinus sylvestris from the zone of intensive technogenic loadings in Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe region for the first time. Rating scale of growth stability deviations was designed for pine stands in disturbed regions of Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe.
