Description
Summary:Included in research program about the dropout of education staffs, this paper aims a better understanding of non-teaching operators activity in a primary and secondary French private school. The theorical framework and methodology come under the « clinical activity analysis » and CHAT (Clot, 1999) which tries to understand the individual professional development by helping the collective work to create new resources for action. The results of the study show the effects of co-analysis on collective “professional counterattack” in increasing the power of action. When the operators identify their shared “professional rules”, which gives to them a new consciousness, a new knowledge about their common manners, consolidates the “professional identity” and makes them develop in their profession.
