This is an exploratory and descriptive study, with documentary design and implementation of content analysis proposed by the Ethos Institute and Andi (2006). As the population CSR content reported in the local print newspapers "La Mañana" and "Nuevo Día"; the sampling unit the assessment period 01-10 to 31-12 2013; the context unit paragraph; and the recording unit keywords on the categories studied. a matrix summary of categories of CSR, for recording the information independently, was designed according to the same instructions each researcher and procedure for each day. A low degree of penetration of CSR in Falcon was estimated due to the infrequency of information in the evaluation period, with a minimum coverage and factual treatment with the use of few sources. a low level of knowledge of CSR as a philanthropic activity, developed by small local service companies in Paraguaná and Coro, through direct social action by donating products or services and provision of spaces, to the dimension and groups was detected external, where companies are major players. There is no relevant corporate culture associated with CSR and sustainable development and human rights.
