A particular attention is paid to the structural background in the poet’s creation and in the translator’s creative laboratory. The translations of the eminescian poetry in Russian language prove that their versification is sustained by some essential prosody factors and especially by the shifting accent. The difficulties and issues appeared mostly because of the historical and the socio-psychological specificity, political realities of the time of the analyzed translations. The research focuses on the problem of distacing the interpretation of the poem as a fairy tale which limits the translation and recognizing the mythological structure corresponding to the author’s world vision.http://akademos.asm.md/files/Luceafarul%20in%20traducerile%20rusesti.pdftranslation processthe poem luceafarulstructural backgroundprosodycanonicitythe socio-psychological specificitymythological structure
