Summary:<p/> <p>We investigate the global asymptotic behavior of solutions of the system of difference equations <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i1.gif"/></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i2.gif"/></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i3.gif"/></inline-formula>, where the parameters <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i4.gif"/></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i5.gif"/></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i6.gif"/></inline-formula>, and <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i7.gif"/></inline-formula> are positive numbers and the initial conditions <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i8.gif"/></inline-formula> and <inline-formula><graphic file="1029-242X-2005-741584-i9.gif"/></inline-formula> are arbitrary nonnegative numbers. We obtain some asymptotic results for the positive equilibrium of this system.</p>
