The purpose of this research was to investigate the public perception of CSR and their opinions regard the effect of new technologies in food production, with emphasize on genetically modified food (GMF). Empirical research was conducted in Vojvodina, as the region of Serbia, where food production is a dominant industry. The results showed that respondents mostly identify CSR with company's responsibility and moral obligation to society, especially for food production companies and recognize GMF as not offering benefits and unsafe. The trust in key actors is missing. In this regard, CSR awareness campaigns needs to be strengthened.https://scindeks-clanci.ceon.rs/data/pdf/0352-3462/2020/0352-34622002329D.pdfcorporate social responsibility - csrnew technologiesfoodgmopublic perceptionvojvodina
