Summary:The process of registering Muslim communities of the spiritual government of Crimean Muslims in the first 15 years of independence of Ukraine was too dynamic. However, since 2005 this process has slowed noticeably. This is due to the fact that at present, a possible extreme threshold of this process has been reached. This is due to the fact that in Crimea the process of returning former religious buildings that were transferred according to the legislation of Ukraine to registered legal entities, i.e. Muslim communities. One of the reasons for the decrease in the number of registered Muslim communities is also the reduction in the number of mosques under construction in the settlements of Crimea, due to the cost of their construction.
