Description
Summary:Optically active chrysanthemic acid and its analogues have received considerable attention in recent years due to their practical importance. This review will focus on describing the developments in the synthesis of optically active chrysanthemic acid and its analogues. The transformation that will be covered includes the chemistry of enantiomerically pure 2,2-dimethyl 1,3-disubstituted cyclopropanes derived from monoterpene (+)-3-carene.
