Summary:Cervical cancer is one of the most common localized tumours of the female genital sphere. According to WHO, 16 710 new cases of cervical cancer were registered in Russia in 2015. 6,628 patients died of the progression of the malignant process of this localization in 2015. The standardized morbidity rate in 2015 was 15.1 per 100 thousand of population [1, 2].
