The patient had repeat massive lower gastrointestinal and pelvic extraperitoneal bleeding and was diagnosed as traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the superior rectal artery. To our knowledge, there are three case reports of traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the superior rectal artery treated by embolization.
