Description
Summary:This work presents the Pedagogical RPG as a tool for teaching Physics in High School, by giving a general explanation of what the RPG is and how this game can be used in teaching Physics, and presenting a didactic proposal in which students are protagonists of their learning at being placed in problem-situations where physical concepts previously studied are involved. The data from this study (interviews, questionnaires, field notes and activities written by the students) were examined by Discursive Textual Analysis Method, in order to: identify changes in the way students understand and show the discussed concepts; list advantages and difficulties (for the students or the teacher) of application of Pedagogical RPG in the classroom; highlight the actions of these students against news situations where their expertise was needed. The results show that the Pedagogical RPG is a good tool for Physics learning, improving students' interest, stimulating the imagination and teamwork, and being fun.
