Two questionnaires, Motivation for Reading and Motivated strategies for learning were administered on the sample. Results indicates that female students were significantly higher on both, motivation for learning and motivation for reading as compared to male students. Correlational analysis revealed a significant and positive relationship between motivation for learning and motivation for reading.
