performance standards. Quality assessment measures the difference between expected and actual performance
to identify opportunities to improve quality. Performance standards can be set for different quality dimensions,
such as quality of technical performance or quality of compliance.

describe the product's particularities. Basic features are those that play a direct role in product functionality and
can be estimated at the time of purchase. The use characteristics are those that describe the behavior of the
