In one of the seven pillars of Indonesia's marine policy, which is in the pillars of the management in the scope and protection of marine environment, one of the major programs of marine environment protection policy is the prevention, mitigation, and recovery of pollution impacts and damage to marine environment. For the achievement of the objectives, the KKP requires a normative support for the protection to marine environment from oil pollution by tankers, in terms of prevention, mitigation, and recovery of pollution impacts and damage to marine environment.https://doi.org/10.1051/e3sconf/20184706007
