Artemenko0Higher Educational Establishment of Ukoopspilka "Poltava University of Economics and Trade"The impact of the modern informational revolution on the formation of megatrends in the post-socialistic economy has been mainly studied through the conclusions drawn by Daniel Bell, Peter Drucker, Alvin Toffler, V. Golikov, G. Zadorozhnyi, S. Mochernyi, A. Chukhno as well as statistical data and sociological researches. It is concluded in the article that major megatrends of post-industrial development are formed in the post-socialistic economy either under the influence of the informational revolution or as consequences of the latter. The conclusions were reached taking into consideration the impact of the informational revolution on the modern economic development (especially in Ukraine). These conclusions are aimed at the transformation of the industrial economy in post-socialistic countries into the post-industrial knowledge economy. Particularly, these conclusions were drawn on the evidence of the necessity for creating conditions for spiritual and creative human activity as the most important prerequisite and consequence of the informational revolution. The most important among them is the transformation of the education system of socialistic times into its current value, which can be characterized by greater accessibility, better informational provision and democratization. The statistical analysis shows that this process takes on new quality, though it needs a further acceleration. Analyzing changes in the ranking of post-socialistic countries according to the technological development of the economy, the author concludes that formation of the informational, and knowledge post-socialistic economy mostly depends, apart from other factors, on the chosen model of transformational development. The article concludes that the most important feature of the influence of the informational revolution on the transformation of the post-socialistic economy in most post-Soviet countries is insufficient post-industrial orientation of economic processes and prerequisites for innovative development as the main trend in the economy. Other most important conclusions of the article consist in the fact that the transition to the knowledge-based economy paves the way for post-socialistic countries into the global "world-economy", to the development of ecological production and democratic socialization of economic relations and to the building of the globalized post-industrial economy in post-socialistic countries in general.http://www.ed.ksue.edu.ua/ER/knt/ee141_69/e141art.pdfinformational revolutionmegatrendvalue and rationalknowledge economy |
