Summary:This paper focuses on exploring the connections between the education and the Islam. Education is the most important element for the development of any country and individuals. Education supports the individuals for their personality development, social development, intellectual development, and vocational development, etc. The Individuals all together form the nation. Nations' qualities specify the qualities of a country. Nations' skills specify the economy and development of a country. This study explores the Islamic views and thoughts about education in the light of Ayaats from the Holy Quran and Hadiths ( The sayings of of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him) which indicate the connection between education and Islam. This paper highlights the value research and practice in Islam, dignity of teacher, teaching methods as reflected in Quran, and objectives of education in Islam. This study provides implications for policy makers to improve the education system in the light of Islamic concepts about the Education, and develop curriculum, and prepare textbooks aligned with the Islamic concept of teaching and learning.
