Description
Summary:Nowadays, sexually transmitted diseases have seriously threatened public health and damaged the economy. The popular models on the bipartite scale-free graph have been succeeded in the description of the positions of individuals with the network of partnerships. In this paper, we consider a mean-field sexually transmitted disease model on complex networks. We take a new insight into the mean-field model on complex networks from an edge compartmental view of points. We adopt a concise method to calculate the basic reproduction number and seek to threshold phenomena by a Lyapunov approach. The results show the consistency between the mathematical calculations and biological explanations.
