Summary:Flat systems with 2 inputs are investigated. Our approach is based on invertible differential operators and deformations of structures on diffieties of control systems. Invertible differential operators of size are described. The order of a flat output is estimated by the order of the corresponding invertible differential operator linearizing the control system. The minimal order of invertible differential operator linearizing the system is estimated by the order of its deformation.
