Description
Summary:Objective: To study the effect of preoperative intra-arterial interventional chemotherapy on cancer cell proliferation and invasion in advanced gastric cancer. Methods: A total of 134 patients with advanced gastric cancer who received preoperative intra-arterial interventional chemotherapy in AVIC 363 Hospital between May 2014 and September 2016 were selected, and 5-fluorouracil + oxaliplatin + mitomycin solution was used for preoperative intra-arterial interventional chemotherapy. Before and after chemotherapy, gastric cancer lesions were collected respectively, and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay kits were used to detect the expression of pro-proliferation genes C-met, CypA, GOLPH3 and PTP1B, tumor suppressor genes EAF2, ELL, ING5, GKN1 and GKN2 as well as invasion-related genes MMP2, MMP7, MMP11, Snail and Twist. Results: After interventional chemotherapy, C-met, CypA, GOLPH3, PTP1B, MMP2, MMP7, MMP11, Snail and Twist protein expression in gastric cancer lesions were significantly lower than those before interventional chemotherapy while EAF2, ELL, ING5, GKN1 and GKN2 protein expression were significantly higher than those before interventional chemotherapy. Conclusion: Preoperative intra-arterial interventional chemotherapy has a significant inhibitory effect on the proliferation and invasion of cancer cells in advanced gastric cancer.
