Summary: | This article presents the existing evidence for a Lule-Vilela genetic relationship. Lule and Vilela are probably the two worst known languages from the Chaquean region, and is no consensus yet about their classification. The phonological systems (the Lule one being a temptative phonemization) of both languages are discussed. Then, the phonological correspondences are showed, and later the grammatical and lexical cognate sets. No attempt is made for reconstructing the Proto-Lule Vilela phonological system. |
