| Summary: | We report new data on ground beetles from two mountainous regions of the Chechen Republic (Sharoi and Shatoi regions). The specimens were collected in five biotopes of two natural zones (mountain - forest, mountain - meadow zones). A total of 2213 specimens of ground beetles belonging to 56 species of 16 genera were collected. An annotated list of the newly collected species with indications of their geographical allocation and corresponding biotopes, as well as the number of specimens collected, are presented in the paper. |
