Summary:In this paper, 2-bit magnitude comparator using electro-optic effect inside lithium-niobate based Mach-Zehnder interferometers (MZI) is proposed. The design is based on six MZIs only, hence proposed device is optimized in comparison of previous design. The mathematical description of device is well described. The results are verified using MATLAB and Beam propagation method simulation.
