Summary: | The National Education Plan (PNE) brought a challenge to the community and especially to the managers of public education in Brazil. One of these challenges is certainly expanding the access to culture. The purpose of this article is to discuss some issues related to culture in the PNE. The text is divided into two parts, the first one regarding legal issues in the teaching of art from the LDB 9 . 394 / 1996 and the second concerning the study of culture and the PNE. Finally, it is sought to trace a parallel between the teaching of art and culture in accordance with the PNE. |
