Description
Summary:Spectacle #3 is a text written at the invitation of the choreographer Loic Toizé on the occasion of an "dances to be read" event occured at Honolulu, Nantes, in 2015. It is the first text of a series of three books, a movie, a lecture-performance and an archive of interviews. It is part of a broader research project on the relationship between dance and language from an economic, poetic and performative point of view. Spectacle #3 starts from some questions: which movement produces a description? Can we imagine another kind of show business? What kind of language becomes choreographic? When does a performance start and end? What do we talk about when we talk about dance?
