The clinical significance of preoperative serum CEA, β-HCG and CXs detection in the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer

Objective: To study the clinical significance of preoperative serum CEA, β-HCG and CXs detection in the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and disease treatment. Methods: Non-small cell lung cancer patients treated in our hospital from April 2009...

Methods: Non-small cell lung cancer patients treated in our hospital from April 2009 to April 2014 were analyzed. Correlation between preoperative serum CEA, β-HCG as well as Cxs and clinical stages as well as prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer was assayed. Healthy subjects in our hospital during the same period were taken as control group. Results: Serum CEA, β-HCG and Cxs had no obvious correlation with patients’ age and gender, but CEA and β-HCG had negative correlation with the clinical stages and prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer while Connexin43 had positive correlation with the clinical stages and prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer. Conclusions: Preoperative serum CEA combined with β-HCG and CXs detection can be taken as key molecules in clinical diagnosis and prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer.http://www.hnykdxxb.com/PDF/201601/87-90.pdfNon-small cell lung cancerCarcinoembryonic antigenβ-human chorionic gonadotropinClinical stagePrognosis
