This study showed that the ethanol extract of R. officinalis L. has a pronounced antimicrobial activity against strains of both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The extract also showed good antioxidant activity. Rosemary showed significantly more potent antibacterial activity against E. coli. The diameter of the zone of oppression was 17 mm.
