Summary:• Until recent time, the publishers of scientific articles owned the intellectual and economic copyright by providing the facilities for reviewing and publications.‌ Nevertheless, based on the recent technological advancements, a modern policy called "open access policy" has been developed in reviewing and publications of the scientific articles. In this new method, authors own the copyright of their articles by paying the necessary costs to the publishers. Therefore, as soon as an article is reviewed and accepted, it will be published online and everyone can freely access it.
